Daren W. Hornig,
Managing Partner

Daren is the Managing Partner of Hornig Capital Partners, bringing over 30 years of real estate experience with a diverse background as a real estate broker, telecommunications entrepreneur, and real estate investor and developer.

Since founding HCP in 2013, he has acquired and developed over $1 billion in properties across office, residential, retail, and industrial sectors. In 2023, he successfully acquired the famed Port Washington Tennis Academy and partnered with Sportime to establish Sportime Port Washington, home to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy. Following an $8 million renovation, the facility now features 13 tennis courts and 12 pickleball courts.

In 2024, Daren partnered with Sportime again to launch Sportime Pickleball, focused on expanding pickleball facilities throughout the Northeast. The company currently operates five clubs, spanning 160,000 square feet with 66 indoor dedicated courts, and is actively acquiring new properties through leases and acquisitions to expand further.

A 1989 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, with a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, Daren resides in both New York and Florida. When he's not acquiring properties or launching new pickleball facilities, you can find him on the courts or the slopes.

Daniel Silvermintz,


Vice President of Finance & Operations

Daniel Silvermintz serves as Vice President of Finance & Operations for HCP.
Mr. Silvermintz has been with HCP since March 2016. He graduated from The University of Southern California’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences with a BA in International Relations. Daniel is actively involved in several philanthropic organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of Sharsheret and the UJA Community Initiative for Holocaust Survivors Committee.

 

Matthew Frank,

Vice President of Development

Matthew Frank serves as Vice President of Development of HCP and brings over 20 years of experience developing office, industrial and mixed use projects throughout the New York Tri-state area. Prior, Matt served as the Executive Vice President of Development for The Richman Group Development Corp. and as the Executive Vice President of Development and Design of RXR Realty (f/k/a Reckson Associates Realty Corp.). While at Richman, Mr. Frank was responsible for identifying development opportunities for the newly formed Richman Signature brand. During his almost 13 years with Reckson and RXR, Matt was responsible for the planning, design, and entitlement of over 12 million SF of development. Mr. Frank holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from the Tulane University School of Architecture and is a registered architect in the State of New York. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of Vision Long Island, the areas premiere smart growth planning advocacy organization. Mr. Frank lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
